There's a part of me frozen in time somewhere, not so much frozen from this time, but another time prior to this but still exists within the constrains of my lifetime which is basically nineteen years of life so far.
And as i'm watching her, i see her standing there, shouting at me, in a warning type of way about what is going to happen to me, and why its going to be this way and not any other. she stares at the ground and kicks at it, shuffling her feet through the dirt, light dust clouds rise as a result, but through the dust something shiny appears. picking it up and holding it in one hand. she throws it in the air, i look carefully at it and notice its a penny. She stops throwing it up in the air and simply leaves it in her palm and shows it to me saying "these will be meaningless one day, the same day that you HAVE TO feel about him. well, make him mean nothing to you." she threw the penny over her head, and then went on to say "you understand don't you?" she laughs, "of course you will."
Watching her walk away i noticed that she chained to something. as she walked, the chain lagged behind her. i don't remember having seeing her chained before, or maybe i just never noticed and its always been there. i turned then to walk away and smiled to myself "of course i understand."
